Getting Started Activities
Everybody has to start somewhere but when you and your students are new to Edwin it can be difficult to decide where or how to begin. The Edwin Classroom Success Team has created a series of activities that are designed for exactly that – getting started! The activities below were designed with new users in mind and cover a broad range of grades, subjects, and provincial curricula. They have also been built with multiple modes of instruction in mind (Whole class, Teacher-only, Online, In-person, etc.) to accommodate different learning environments. Try one today!
In this activity you will show a video about circuits and then take the class through an interactive simulation designed to help you explore how circuits work and model the different ways that circuits can be completed, broken, or added to as a whole class. By the end of this activity students should have a basic understanding of circuits, how they work, and their essential features. Suggested Grade Level: 5-8 | Whole Class Activity
